This page will have questions that have have gone to our board or our
CAM. Some may concern condominium ownership in general; others may be specific to Sunswept.
If there is EVER any question about the accuracy of the answers posted here, please contact me immediately so that I can verify
the response and correct if warranted.
Q - When is the next scheduled board meeting?
A - Monday, December 21 - 9am - Budget Adoption Meeting
in the Sunswept Clubhouse.
Q - Who is my board representative?
A - Each building elects a director each
year specifically from owners in that building. In addition, there are 3 at-large directors who are also there
for each of you. Their names and email addresses are on the contact tab of this site.
Q - If I rent
my unit, do I have to use a specific agency?
A - No. We no longer have an on-site office for rentals.
As always, owners can use any rental agency of their choice, or can rent on their own; however, everyone must continue to
enforce the Sunswept Rules and Regulations regarding the minimum age for renters (23) and the no pets policy.
Q
- Do I need a parking pass for myself and my guests?
A - Yes. Any car without a parking pass displayed in
the front window is subject to tow. Parking passes are available in the office for owners and all guests.
Q
- When when we get the 2010 budget?
A - It is still being finalized and will be mailed to you for review within
the next 2 weeks.
Q - What kind of trash can I put
in the dumpster?
A - Household trash ONLY. It is the owner's responsibility to dispose of anything
else (i.e. old appliances, mattresses, building materials, etc.) by either taking it to the landfill or arranging for haul
off of old items when new ones are delivered.

Q - Do I need insurance on my unit?
A - You need
to confer with an insurance agent licensed in Florida for assistance. The association maintains fire, liability,
wind and flood insurance as required by law, but those policies will not fully replace your unit in the case of a catastrophe
and the coverage is different based on the type of casualty. That's why you need to get advice from your own agent
on your needs. The Florida legislature has proposed several changes that will affect how the board will determine
insurance coverage for the association and also what will be required for individual owners and documentation that you could
be asked to provide to the association.
Q - My mortgage company says I have to provide proof of flood insurance coverage
or they will buy a policy for me and bill me. How can I get it?
A - Fill in the information requested on the link for certificate requests on this website, http://www.statewidecondo.com/links.html. They will send the certificate directly to your mortgage holder, or you can call 800-260-5252 or 772-567-1700
for assistance.

Q - My insurance agent says that I may
be able to get a reduction on my personal condo insurance if Sunswept got a Wind Mitigation Certificate.
Did Sunswept get one? and, if there is one, where can I get a copy of that certificate?
A
- Sunswept did get a credit from Citizens Insurance on our wind policy. Click on the link that follows and you
can print out the 4 pages of that certificate. http://s456.photobucket.com/albums/qq281/sunsweptpanamacitybeach/Wind%20Mitigation%20Certificate
